Dr. Thirumaran's research focus over the past 5 years has been on
Singapore, Bali, Malaysia, Bhutan and studies on Chinese and Indian
tourists. He has contributed articles in edited books, journal, encyclopaedia and newspapers. Dr. Thirumaran is a frequent guest lecturer in special interest tourism and civic education at public schools in Singapore.

MEET MR. RAYMOND ANG
Raymond Ang is a part-time psychology student at James Cook University Singapore. He works as a Social Work Coordinator in the social services sector and has been in this field for the past 3 years. During his free time, he reads fantasy novels such as Dungeons and Dragons and on various topics such as history, natural history, photography, paranormal as well as other psychology papers. Raymond also enjoys diving and photography.
